I awoke to the touch of cold air rushing into my body. Death was uprising as my eyes shut into darkness. How it happened, a cloudy June afternoon walking around a corner. The car ran around the corner aiming for my body. The car swerved over me, crushing my head as the tire scraped my skull. The blood from the sharp metal gushing down my arm. My fingers snapped from the cement trying to catch my fall. My legs broken from the impact of the car grill. My chest burning with pain. The driver rushed in reverse back over my body cracking my hip. He threw me into the car. I passed out. Awakening with the roar of heaven as the light was almost going to take me. I looked to the right my vision blurred, the woman who hit me, she was 24 and had fair hair and dark brown eyes and was pale like a vampire. She was paying her respects because we both knew I was going to die today. My eyes shut again. Silence washed over the room. I woke up with my legs elevated my arm across my chest my head and neck straight unable to move. My left eye swollen shut. My chest was sore as I looked at the large scare marking my heart. The surgeon did surgery on my heart because it was shutting down. The oxygen tank on the steel cart next to my bed beeped every five minutes. I was in critical condition. The door plated intensive care unit and a number 306 below it. I was still in the hospital. The nurse jogged in with a cup of hot soup and a glass of milk. The soup filled my body with warmth soothing my pains. The doctor said I could leave in three weeks. Three weeks later. ?I walked into my house with a scent of a welcoming and appealing candle There was a large poster that read Welcome home Grace I wheeled into my room the wheel chair dragging on the carpet. My bed lowered and made handicap accessible. Attempting to grip on a pillow with my broken fingers. I went into the kitchen trying to help make lunch. Instead I sat down at the table unable to move my limbs. ?We hosted a benefit dinner for myself at our church Saint Anthony’s. I wheeled in to the welcoming crowd of the parish. I ate Spaghetti and drank lemonade. We raised $2,357 at the benefit dinner. ?I went to the doctor’s office to see if I would be able to walk again. I went to find out that my body was permanently damaged and that I had 2 years to live. I thought about walking into heaven with God and Jesus. Walking was repeating my head. 2 years later exactly I woke up and didn’t get into my wheel chair I walked to the kitchen. I collapsed and my eyes shut as my body was shutting down. My skin turning extremely pale as I walked with God to Heaven, as the world turned black and faded away.
