A dimly lit dream.
Warm dull wood.
Humidity bathes;
A gentle mother’s hands.

Mister Mister cracks glass,
Traffic blares out of place.

Sipping sweet cold tea,
As crowds dwindle.
Then the ceramic floor tells me she’s here,
Before my eyes do.
How do my ears know that style?
Her face and the curve of her yellow shirt open the world.
