The Dancers in the Halls of Time

The crowds had gathered time had stopped
Music filled the air
The orchestras of heavenly power
Now played within the hall

Darkness came in all her garb
Her raven locks hung free
With eyes so dark and thunder roll
Her entrance now she made

Light came in a flash of power
It filled the hall with warmth
As rays of light spun round about
They clothed her in bright fire

Dancers in the halls of time
Twirl and spin with grace
Darkness slides into the floor
Light it whirls around

Music sings from heavens court
The jester idly stands
Rainbow bridges spanning time
The dancers now compete

Cold the rain that fell on them
Icy winds did chill
Biting deep within times soul
Causing untold pain

Warmth light craves yet darkness stops
Closing out its fire
Lost in darkness shroud they dance
Till slowly light appears

Now a glimpse of truth we see
In her eyes of love
Deep within celestial swirls
Magnetic rays do feel

Drawing all within its pools
Touching something lost
Answers hid from all we see
Spirits meld as one

Exploding rhapsody of mind
Ecstatic seas of light
Time is naught when worlds collide
Mystic seers do sing

Future – past - they all be one
Dreams of timeless stars
Enter in where hearts do weep
Ending who knows where

What or where, how or when
O such troubles bear
Anguish looms - it’s born of pain
Lost in passions grasp

None doth see what some do show
None can hear the truth
Lost within confusion’s grip
Chaos rules would seem

Light a spark that brings us hope
Love it lends its’ wings
Dancers through the gates beyond
Dancers timeless be

Who can dance with me in space?
Who can hear my song?
Mystic notes that dance within
Through ageless dreams I see

Dancers from the timeless realms
Merging future dreams
The dance has changed
The music throbs darkness lost her place

Light has taken now the floor
Illuminating all
Her rays of warmth surround the hall
Her heat doth melt the heart

Dancers from the end of time
Dancing in time’s hall
Crowds enthralled within their spell
The Lord of Dance presides
