Painted Thoughts of Spiritual Jazz
Dizzy blows those magic notes, Parker improvised, Ginsberg’s words now cloud my thoughts, I snap to life’s old beat.
Smoking reefers, laying back, cushions strewed around, trips within my inner realms, discovering what I am.
Music paints, its’ colours spin, pallets, brushes, all within, the poet picture life not rhyme; art is born anew!
The mind a canvas soaks it in, the body flesh, its passions fix, all combine in crystal thoughts, colouring the soul.
Dancing notes in music’s rhyme, opening doors to spiritual realms, transforming hues of soundless light, hear the music play.
Living notes of rhapsody, notes that open hidden doors, entering into loves sweet light, dancing throughout time.
Soft blue caverns out of sight, drawing spurts of golden light, gently opening rings of love flowing to the cosmic beat.
Endless wonders to expound, love and light in music breathe, poets sing the beat of life, Kerouac’s dreams fulfilled.
