Rendezvous with Love

Secret tryst in twilight’s glow
Pounding hearts like drums can hear
Lovers meet neath silver moon
Rendezvous with love

Fire burns within the hearth
Frosty windows- starlit sky
Lovers lay within loves’ arms
Rendezvous with love

Dark brown eyes of liquid light
Raven locks and lips of fire
Beauties mold I now do see
Rendezvous with love

Hearts do throb in ardour’s grip
Soft the touch - yet strong as well
Passion steers - it drives them on
Rendezvous with love

Racing thoughts within the mind
Time has stopped while lovers join
Thus the cycle ever moves
Rendezvous with love

Inner power that grows with love
Drives them onward till they meet
Love envelops them in light
Lovers’ rendezvous
