Sane or Insane

We look around the world
And what do we see?
Murder, death, and suffering
Committed by those who’re sane?

As for me well I know I am insane
Because I do not agree with them
an old deluded Don Quixote
A man lost in times fair web

I see what should be and not what is
I hope and then I pray
a poor lost figure in a dream
I wander this world’s halls

To live in this world of sanity
it only brings me pain
for who is sane we all may ask
Just take a look around

The politicians, governments
they only bring us pain
the media and its trash delude
while young soldiers have to die

The criminal walks the street so free
the law it keeps him there
the honest man a prey for all
is this world really sane?

So give me my world of madness
Oh let me rejoice I say
I'd rather be mad and happy now
than sane and sad like them
