Sultry Nights

Sultry nights of passion and love
Warm humid air and tropical land
Lost in seas of sensual bliss
Lovers of ages gone by

Exotic the scent of these lands I imbibe
Sounds form a great symphony
Colors so varied yet mingled as one
Tropical nights long ago

Lovers who kiss in hot steamy lands
Skin so smooth to the touch
Arousing the senses that others have lost
Lovers of worlds long apart

Flowers and plants that blossom and bloom
Birds whose sweet songs fill the air
Life is so free from worry we know
Lovers of ages now lost

At night in the warmth of cover and sheet
Your minds can travel so free
Accessing the lands of tropical bliss
Reliving the past that is lost

Lovers may dream but dreams always end
Reality waits at the end
Rushing and hurrying - a living to earn
All else pushed aside once again
