Traveler Through Life’s Fog

Spinning fire so cold
Green and blue it burns
Spiraling round and round
Within the center spell

Windows open wide
Visions pass before
Fear doth grip my heart
Blood it drips from stone

Pain it racks my brain
O evil that prevails
O horrors that I see
Gates darkness far below

Entrance soft to touch
Entering caverns warm
Whispers yell within
Blood turns cold as frost

Melting neath the burning sun
Lost in webs of sand
Twisted fingers crying out
Deeds do thus imprison

Dead to all around me
Senses dulled and calloused
Entombed with my shell
Traveller through life’s fog

In quietness new morning’s birth
Reflecting on life’s page
Open windows starlight shines
Riding moonbeams up on high

Enter folds through gaps in time
Whisper secret thoughts
Twisted words corrupt the mind
Thoughts I can’t control

Leading into actions vile
Endless cycles turn
Journey through the minds recess
Thus all deeds revealed

Hidden fears exposed to all
Secrets wait unlocked
Battles now do wait unseen
None can fathom what

Past and future coiled in snares
Worlds beyond our ken
Things to twirl and things to sway
Traveller through life’s fog
