Being strong is believing,

Trying to find anything relieving.

Hurting, pain, and healing,

Keep it in, no revealing.

What’s inside.

We all seem to hide.

Why is it so difficult to show?

Why our feelings we all stow.

We hide behind the fake,

Because everything is at stake.

Don’t let anyone in.

No one gets past the skin.

We all hate pain.

So let’s hide,

And pretend to be sane.
