After the fight we are weary
all of our eyes are teary

We are all full of pains
our future full of stains

Hiding won't solve this problem
at least not to them

At least no the enemy
everything is what they see

That is the inconvenient truth
welcome to the restaurant of dismay, we have a booth

We have fought for our sons
the weight of the world is heavier than tons

The weight of the world is what we carry
the task can get scary

Blood is a familiar thing
but it still has the familiar sting

I can hear the happy song
the one I've wanted for so long

I'm losing my breath, gasping for air

And my eyes form a never-ending stare

I'm glad I can rest now
I hope going into heaven is what god will allow

I have passed on; into the next chapter
maybe there I will hear laughter

After the fight we are weary
all of our eyes are teary
