My times run out everything is crumbling down

A patter of rain falling on me
A creaking of swings as they rock in the eve
Trees losing their leaves with each gust and breeze
birds singing as they close their eyes and go to sleep

And still I sit silent, unmoving, stony and cold
Not blinking not breathing not feeling just being
Until the dam breaks and I cry for your hold
shaking, tearing, I'm holding myself close

I don't want to let this go what we have
it makes me cry and it makes me laugh
I stare and wonder and then I get sad
Cuz you and me, we wern't meant to last

A hiccup in my breath a start to my heart
a pain in my chest straight down in the dark
There's embers starting with a little spark
to warm the deep of my soul and shatter the parts

I'm crumbling down, clinging to these last bricks
If I  could close my eyes I would dream and wish
But my hope is failing now, everything is falling down
My times run out, I'm scared, lost, it's all over now
