My name is William G. Basker.

But you can call me Will.

I've been on this road for what seems like an eternity.

I've grown exhausted from waiting.

I know how I may appear to others.

Raggedy, dirty, maybe even scary. I assure you I am harmless. I am just lonely.

You see I left my home about a month ago.

I was tired of the fucking politics in my house.

My father drank from sun up to sun down.

My mom worked two jobs, and took classes in the evenings.

I had taken care of my little sister Amy almost all her life. She had just turned nine and started to mirror my every move. Something my father despised.

I wanted to leave my home. Not because I was scared of my father, but because I knew I could no longer live my life in an environment filled with fake love, hate and watching my father touch his nine year old daughter.

Why not do something?

Thing is, I did. But you see, my father put a hole in the back of my head, and buried my body on this road.

Now I wait here. On this very road.
