High heels
before she stepped in her house
she rested at the porch for a while
observing the night stars.
For one moment
she could not breathe
as if a hammer sliced through her lungs
leaving her lonely and half dead.
She suffocated.

She entered her house
that felt so hostile
as if it did not
host her miserable existence
for all those years that have sadly passed.

She shut the door behind her
laid her head on the bed
threw her high heels to the mirror.
And the mirror broke.
And the hammer stopped plundering her lungs.
And the house seemed
as if
it was colorful again.

Like the old days
when she did not need
high heels.
