Green

Can't sleep tonight

Evil thunderstorms brewing

Lightning...

Crashing, Striking

Illuminating night sky

into temporary

Daylight

Peeking with one eye

from underneath blankets

at creeping

shadows

No safety feeling now

Jagged limbs

scratching...

the house

Force myself to look outside

Eerie...

Turbulent wind

Cemetery strangely visible

Malevolent, Spying

Clouds of mist, possibly fog

Rising, Lurking...

Haunting

Glowing, luminous lights

Green...

are born from the plumes

Unhuman, supernatural...

Frightening

Miniature UFO's circling

Wind Howls.

From beyond the chain link fence

Body part lifting

Severed

extracted from the ground...

Screams. My Screams

I jump from the bed...

Violently slamming the floor

I run for my parents room

Images of what I saw

stamped, tattooed...

Permanently in my head
