As you came by…

You came like a moonbeam

Through tinted window panes

Caressing this swarthy face…

Filling with illumination

My forever vacant gaze..

You arrived like a rush of scented balmy wind

Carrying roses and lavenders through the pine groves

And you greeted me as if we have met before

Smiling so sweetly as you knew me to the core.

Your voice stirred the stillness, sent tremors through the air

Touching me in the right place where I hide my hurts and pains

And you made this dreamy heart glow a little hotter

Brimming these stony eyes with a little holy water…
