My Sweetest Ache

I am not a child but still believe in angels,

So much so I go out in the night, seeking one

No, I don’t need doors, I can walk through the walls

Coz I am the thirst of a desert, not a thing small..

Moonless nights are common dear but I am a sunless day

Thinking of you all the time, of our sweet hidden place

But you are still a vision darling, a vision of love

So Nothing matters now, nothing.. except my sweetest ache.

My long awaited storm, waltz across this leaden sky

Be my each verse, oh dwell in each yearning’s cry

Oh  how I thank God for sending glimpses of you to me

For you are a Muse like none other, you are my poetry.
