The Impasse

In that  blindest of darkness

When my eyes became depthless

Like kohl encased grey marbles

Someone took hold of my hand

And led me on..

A thousand suppressed melodies

Writhed beneath the loud hush

And the road turned into

A haunted and shambled art gallery.

Oh how I wanted to feel his face

An endless thirsty ocean sizzled within my heart

Trying to keep it still, I fumbled and collapsed

Thereafter I don’t know, where I was..
