Immediately after finishing Ender’s Game I would have given it thumbs down. The ending felt rushed and it hurried to conclusions. I felt like I was being ripped off. However, after some pouting and reflecting on the book a little more, I changed my mind. I would give the ending of Ender’s Game a thumbs up. It may have felt rushed, but it gave the book closure. It finally explained the Buggers actions and their reasoning. They weren’t the heartless, cruel creatures we were led to believe they were. Ender understood them and they understood him. It was a great ending to a great book.

I think if I were to convert this into a film myself, I would stay pretty faithful to the book. I would probably make a few small changes, like Ender and the other children’s ages, but other than that I’d keep it the same. It isn’t broken, why fix it? It’s already a brilliant story and there’s nothing to fix in my opinion.

I would recommend it anyone looking for a good read. I would especially recommend it to my friend Austin and my study hall teacher Mr. Stuart. While reading Ender’s Game they both already seemed interested in it, plus I think they’d like the story and characters within. Another person I might recommend it to is my dad. He loves a good read and a good plot twist as much as anyone and I think he would really enjoy this book. All in all I’d probably give the book 4/5 stars. It was well written and had a plot that kept me interested and had twists and turns that kept it exciting.
