I ran. I kept on running. Faster. Faster, faster. My bare feet slapping painfully on the ground. In unison, they sounded like a drum. Faster. Faster, faster. I was lulled by their rhythm and compelled to run faster. For They were gaining on me. They were...

I am the only one left on my planet. They came and destroyed everyone. My mother, raped and killed right in front of my eyes. I stood, transfixed, watching as They tortured innocent little children, leaving them helpless as They killed others. Our Chief, Begredonn have mecy on him, was beaten until death. As he fell to the ground, I caught him and lay him gently to rest. He pushed me away and groped for the pendent hanging loosely around his neck. He ripped it off with such passion. He thrust the rusted metal into the palm of my hand.

"Take it," he spluttered, blood spewing from his lips, "take it and run! RUN! Go to the ones you shall call Family. Go!" The Chief' seyes rolled back, revealing white, and his tongue lolling, spilling Sacred blood.

I grasped the pendent to my chest, kissed it, then stuff it into my satchel. I kissed our Sacred Leader on the forehead,as he was now turning to ash. I got up and looked at my begotten people.

"I shall have my revenge, my Sacred People! On Begredonn I do swear!"

I turn and headed to one of the Four Corners of our Planet.

"I shall find the ones I will call Family, and together we shall have revenge..."

And bring down humankind as we know it.

My Sacred People, on Begredonn I do swear...
