Summary

I wrote this about a person who thought they were in love with someone, but soon figures out that saying the words " I love you" were just a lie. The person lied to themselves and to the other person to cover their true feelings for someone they always knew/thought they could never have. Note: Please no harsh comments :)

I know now

That I was the one

In the wrong

Because, when you were gone

I felt just fine?

And even more alive.

I know now.

That the time,

When I looked

You

In the eye

And said those

Three dreaded words.

They sounded like a

Lie

I was the one

In the wrong.

Not long ago

Did I only realise

That I'd

Always

Known you and I

Were wrong.

I guess, it took a very long time

For me to look you in the eye

 Again.

But sadly this time

Even though I know I will cry.

I know I have to try

And this poem

 Is to tell

You

Goodbye.
