I CAUGHT THE WIND THEN TRIED TO AIR
  SAW THE CANYONOF MY DESPAIR
ALL THE ROLLING TEARS  THAT TRIED TO EASE
BUT ALL I NEEDED WAS A BREEZE
POLLUTED FEATHERS  ON THE TRIP
FELT MY WINGS WERE SURLY CLIPPED
I HAD A SKY I HAD A VIEW
AND A MOON  IN WHICH TO TUNE
I HAD LOVE AND I HAD YOU
AND A SENSE OF WHAT TO DO
WAIT FOR THERMALSON THE GROUND
  LEVITATETHE MOMENT FOUND
SOOTHE BY WRITING ON THE WALL
TRY TO MONO SCRIPT IT ALL
MIXED EMOTIONSFEELINGS FEW
CLUNG TO ROCKS I THOUGHT I KNEW
SAW MY IMAGE IN THE PAIN
BUT I KNEW I STILL REMAINED
ANGER NOT WITHIN MY PLAN
NOR TO BOTHER COMMON MAN
JUST TO FLY  JUST TO FLY
OH JUSTIFY O JUSTIFY
WHEN UNCONDITIONAL APPLIES
IF ONLY I COULD HOLD IT IN MY MIND
