EMOTIONLESS ENTANGLEMENT, SIMILARITIES COLLIDE,
WITHIN AN INSTANT  RECOGNITION DISAPPEARS AND HIDES .
WHAT, WHERE,YOU SEARCH  FOR SOMETHING MAYBE .
TO REACH BEYOND THE DEPTHS,TO BRAVE FURTHER THAN THE KNEE'S .
AND WHAT OF THEPAST,SURLY GONE ARE THOSE DAYS,
WHO CAN RESURRECT THE SPIRITOR REVERSE A SINGLE WAVE .
I'M NOT THE BRIGHTEST STARI THINK I PETERED LONG AGO ,
I REMEMBER HOW TO GLIMPSE I REMEMBER HOW TO KNOW
I REMEMBER HOW TO TAKE A GRIP AND WHEN TO LET GO.
OF ALL THE KNOWLEDGE THAT TIME TAUGHT SO WELL.
I CAN RECOGNIZE THE TACTILE CAGE FROM THE IMAGINARY CELL .
IF I FIND MYSELF CAUGHT  WITHIN A SUNKEN WRECK,
THE ONLY BREATH OF AIR SECURELY DOWN MY NECK .
I'LL TAKE THE HATCH AND BRACE AND BREAK THE RUSTY SEAL .
THROUGH THE PECULATION A FREEDOM IS REVEALED
AND WITH A SALTED GAZE  I PAN THE TIDAL CREST ,
AND SMILE WITH SATISFACTION  IT WAS NEVER LOST  I GUESS.
ALL THAT EVER WAS, ALL THAT ' WAS' BECAME ,
WILL NEVER BEAR A FINGERPRINT A LABEL OR A NAME .
