Crowds of people stand before me,
towering and fearsome.
Looking down at me,
a tiny insignificant figure,
with pity. I beckoned them over
to my place of solitude,
hiding in my mask that accepts the pity
with no hostility. While my body is outwardly
calm and accepting of them, my insides
are dying to let a new me out.
They’re dying to let me loose…let me wreak havoc
onto the crowds that speculate over me.
They’re dying to throw away my cautiousness
andlet out a person they had never seen before.
That person I wished I can be…
