this sorrow deep inside me
make me want my life to end

even now as i write
death rears his head

in this darkness for so long
isn't as pleasant as it may seem

there comes a taping at my door
i must go to see

i bid my farewells to those i love
for the reaper has come for me

there is no light at the end of that dark tunnel
only more darkness and a freezing presence

of all the goodness i've done
my sins outweigh them all

i'd only hoped to fix them all
death then laughed his chilling laugh, my hope then shattered

i then came to terms of what was happening
what i was experiencing was no dream

i dropped to my knees in the darkness
my eyes completely void

my heart slowing,slowingstopped
deaths cold hands reaching through my chest grasping my soul

a realization came to me before i perished
i left love and happiness behind, the one i loved had loved me back
