I was digging though my closet I found this in my notebook from about two years ago I hope you like it

Blood shedding tears run down your face And it feels like there's no way out.

So you turn to the thing That you know that will help you escape these feeling.

You show no thoughts of self restraint as you pick the razor.

You run it though your shin like butter Shedding the blood of a angel

Its feels so right but is so wrong You feel the pleasure of each shin Peeling cut

Ashley Shephard

it is so sad that one can feel so unloved, misunderstood, or just ignored in life that they have to self-inflict pain to either try to force some feelings, to let others know they are hurting inside, or to even end their precious life. A very strong poem. Halo, you said this was from two years ago, so I'm hopeful you have discovered your life is precious and has meaning and your talent as a poet proves that. Thank you for sharing a glimpse into your past thoughts and hope you have found your calling to live life to the fullest.
