A piece of steel, forged by man.

One that conquered,

The western lands.

Now people say, it’s an evil thing.

How can that be?

A mere machine?

I will admit, a need for control.

But how does one buy,

That’s been on parole?

It’s these people, and the terrorist hand.

Not the rancher,

Protecting his land.

Not the hunter, that searches for meat,

A wife and children,

That has to eat.

What of us, protecting our homes.

When deep in the night,

The others roam?

Tho our law is mighty, our armies strong.

We’ve still the right,

To protect our homes.

If you want control, give it some thought,

Let’s look ahead,

Not lose what we’ve got.
