The thundering hooves, of those who soar free,

Lace the western skies.

The mighty “Cap”,

Of cacti and rock, echoes every sound.

As Angels ride these thundering hooves

Trying to “Rope the Wind

White billowing manes,

Swirl in the air,

Against the crashing sounds.

Whirling nostrels savagely flare.

Froth mixes the brie,

As Angels ride the rushing steeds,

Trying to, “Rope the Wind.”

The greens and grays that fill the sky,

Alas, the ebon blue,

A land of ominous sights and sounds.

God’s fury’s own reflect,

As Angels ride recklessly,

Trying to “Rope the Wind.”

Lariats of lightning, crackle the air.

Slicing the barriers of sound,

A writhing mass of endlessness.

As angels grip, flowing manes,

Trying to “Rope the Wind.”

You ever travel the western lands,

Witness these western skies.

Know that you have seen the stampede.

As angels ride, the winged steeds of Heaven,

Trying to “Rope the Wind.”
