Tho short lived, they’ll last for hours.

Play, “go fish”, or build a tower.

They’ll tell your future,

Of the one you love.

Some have compared,

To the One above.

They’ve cost the life, of many, many men,

Those thought cheated,

Just to win.

They’ve been involved, in games of porn.

They’ve killed the hours,

Of many forelorne.

They’ve been the subject, for countless “Bards”.

There’s fifty-two,

In a Deck of Cards.
