There it hangs with just a “tilt”.

A mirror of man’s souls,

Ridden with guilt.

A shadowed cross, A background of brown.

A crucified man, With thorns for a crown.

Beyond the head, a Golden orb.

His flanks, display gashes,

From Caesar’s mighty sword.

Blood teared eyes,

Raised forth to the sky.

A silent prayer that utters still,

“Forgive them, They know not why.”

On the wall, I straighten the “tilt”.

In a house…..The Good Lord built.
