Broken promises broken hearts.
Insane fights you just had to start.
But the world keeps spinning,
and so does my head.
Waiting for the day,
I’m no longer alone in this bed.
I always knew this was how it would end.
One stupid disagreement, causing your heart to bend.
I’m not saying this was entirely your fault.
I just wish you’d apologize, be an adult.
Remember the days when we were carefree and young?
We’d laugh and we’d play, all under the sun.
What the hell happened? What did we do
to end up like this? We were like piglet and pooh.
Months have passed; I’m still waiting by the phone.
For you to ring, and tell me you’re coming home.
But for now you are not and this dream must end.
Before it turns out, both hearts have been bent.
