Don’t despise who you are,

your body or your face,

you aren’t able to go far

if you don’t learn to embrace.

***

Sometimes you may get down,

feel hopeless and lost,

but never worry or frown

and I’ll melt the frost.

***

Your skin feels frozen

because you’ve kept it all inside,

yet you’re the one that I’ve chosen

to save you from chide.

***

Being you is beautiful,

exuberant with pride,

and that isn’t disputable

for as long as you’ve tried.

***

It may seem there’s no hope,

no light in the tunnel,

but I can aid you to cope

without a shake or a crumble.

***

When there are clouds and cold weather

filled with sadness and dread,

I’ll piece you back together

with my needle and thread.
