DRY LEAF

“I am a little dry leaf,

Crying in bottomless grief,

I lie on the dirty wet ground,

With no one else around.

 On the tree so high,

I could see my friends in the night sky,

They are still bright green,

And that’s the reason why they are so mean!!

These leaves treat me like hell,

But! I could barely yell.

I am already withered and broken,

Then why are cruel words spoken (especially to me)?

I compare my situation to those who are loner,

And pushed towards the utmost corner,

Those fellows have no real companions,

And so they’re grief is greater than the canyons.

They’re already very sad,

Then why does everyone tease them so bad? ,

They too have a lot of feelings,

Just like other humans, animals and things.

The main reason for suicide,

Is keeping someone away and aside”

I closed my letter with tears,

And bid good bye to all my dears.

To keep a twist in the poem,

It’s not the dry leaf, who spoke these lines,

But an outcast boy who wrote these lines,

In his death note and went to sleep for eternity.

(He has consumed poison)
