We all shouldn't be so quick to fight. Nine times out of ten, when someone lashes out and says or does something hurtful, there is an underlying issue that is the root of their emotion and that is what truly needs attention. It's best to let someone cool off instead of attacking them back, although we are all only human and often make the mistake of immediately taking action. There is so much negativity in the air at times, it really is sad. We are all too hard on each other and at times, too hard on ourselves. Is it just me or does it seem like everyone feels the need to constantly put on a show rather than show who they truly are and what they're about? It's depressing really.. Life is so short. We should really value the people around us more than we do. No one and nothing is guaranteed and in a perfect world, neither would ever be taken for granted. People will get on your nerves, piss you off, hurt your feelings and bruise your ego but you have to remember that in the midst of it all, they too are only human. There is never a need to tolerate flat out abuse, that's a deal breaker, but we are all so quick to write people off and we shouldn't be. People screw up but I believe that everyone has the potential to carve themselves into something internally beautiful and that sometimes, it takes screwing up in order for that process to begin and/or mature. I really do love people, I don't hate a soul on this earth but I can only wish that more people would open their hearts and their minds to the fact that each and everyone of us hold the power to create something beautifully felt and invisible to the naked eye- Peace, love and happiness.
