FOR HER (IF SHE'S STILL LISTENING)

I know that it's late, but she said she'd be awake
When I would sing my lonely song
For her and only her, my heart would be hers to take
And I promise her my love is still going strong
But my feelings she won't take, it's only for my sake
These tears that I have can't be wrong
These feelings that I have aren't fake
And I'm telling her my time won't be too long
So if she's still listening, to this cold, rattled voice
I just want for her to hear
That my undying love for her
Is one of my most terrible fears
