I take your hand, you breathe in
You let go, I breathe out
All we do is breathe, nothing left to ease
All we do is breathe, there must be something more
I begin to grow tired, I fall asleep
I start to dream, then I wake
All we do is sleep, always counting sheep
All we do is sleep, there must be something more
I hear you, you hear me
She hears him, he hears she
All we do is hear, but never seem to listen
All we do is hear, there must be something more
I tell her, she tells me
It's just lies, I never seem to see
All we do is lie, always trying to hide
All we do is lie, there must be something more
I take your hand, you breathe in
They drop the bomb, we all breathe out
All we do is die, looking at the sky
All we do is die, nothing anymore

We don't do much, do we, really? We breathe, walk, talk, eat, sleep.. all such normal things, but when you think about everything else that is out there, there's a whole lot that we don't, and probably will never, get to do. One minute you're breathing, the next you're not; it's unpredictable. I like this: it's deep, flows well and has definitely made me think. Good job :)
