I scream at someone they cannot see.

They think me mad.

Am I?

Is the silence to blame?

Or the voice in my dreams?

The echo of nothing.

The still of the city.

Bustling calm.

Quiet screams.

The black and white world of color.

Sun at noon.

The midnight moon.

Stars so cold.

My blackened soul.

Bright dismay.

Will it go away?

A language I do not understand,

And yet I hear it scream

But I cannot.

For it's my voice I hear.

A cristaline ring of loneliness.

It is the ying to my yang.

Or the dark to my light.

Out hearts beat to the same tune.

And yet.

She will never live as I.
