This is a poem about love in war. How if it survived they'd still love each other. It's also about how God wants people to fight for him, but how many people go to Hell.

"Right Beside Me"
Guard me with your sheild,
Your wings,
Your sword,
And your heart,
Tell me you're my warrior,
Although the hurt stings,
And in my soul there's a dart,
Say you'll protect me,
Against all the kings,
And their soldiers,
So I'll be your one true art,
Tell me I'm worth it,
All the pain in the world,
Every smile you see on my face is a diamond in Heaven,
Say that when we're free,
You'll love me until the ends of the earth,
Tell me that we'll always be,
Fight beside me,
This true friendship was meant to last since birth,
I'm covered in blood,
You can see,
The field has been flood,
But you're beside me,
The war is over,
At least I think,
We're on the brink,
Stand up now,
Don't be afraid,
Don't keep looking down,
Put you sword on the ground,
It is something that may keep us bound,
Raise your arms to the heavens,
Do you hear the cheers?
See the stairway made of gold?
My tears may fall,
But across my lips a smile will fold,
We're going to Heaven,
Can't you see?
Please don't let go of me,
We've been set free,
From the sorrows of the earth,
The devil's shaking his head no,
But this is how it's supposed to be,
Finally here we go,
With you right beside me.
