I know that you are far away, and so you can’t hear me say “I love you.” But every night I say it, silently and to myself, so I know that it is true. Despite that we’re so far away, our friendship goes the distance, For we talk so much, we could live together, in everlasting coexistence.

But those nights and days I speak to you, are the happiest of my life, Whether it’s just to ask you how you are, or free you from your strife. I know you feel sometimes as though, there’s nobody there for you, But I’m here to tell you simply, my love that is not true.

For I shall be here for you, until death doth take my hand, But before I go a marching, off to heaven with the band, I want you to know I love you, and that love will never die, Even if I run out of time, and leave you with good bye.

But enough of the soppy sentiments, it’s your birthday after all, So I want you to have the best one ever, one that beats them all, I know that this poem isn’t much, but I could think of no other way, To express how much I love you, I think of you every single day.
