I was a stream of light

I was a broken bulb

Shattered glass...

I was just too dark,

To see through

Trying to catch the throw I threw.

There was no hope inside,

Just old to die.

There was barely any light

I couldn't see in sight.

There is an old me, asking me

Why don't you come back?

Right now, I don't really want to.

I sat down, and told myself,

I fount out my own truth.

I talked with me, my reflection

My inner in.

I told him I was me

I wasn't going back for nothin.

I am the best at being me,

The best I can ever be.

I found myself.
