A simple hole into what once was.

I stayed here to tell you how great we could be

I stayed here to redefine the energy

I expressed nothing greater than sympathy

You wanted less, so you saw me as an enemy

Your voice box is empty, you can’t say anything

You left again, just as I was hovering

I have no choice, I find myself surrendering

It was a trap, conspiracy planned vacant flings

I was an army of one, so much more I could bring

A heated stream flowing through my veins, yes it stings

If we change pace, what happens to the ill pronounced ring?

Do I at least get a teaspoon measure of your empathy?

Ah, yes, your voice, I look and see the true false sniveling centipede

I shouldn’t have let you in, you ate everything

But ignored my only plead
