Poem about one girl I meet in school. Ive known many more Im pretty much the quiet girl but -_- I sadly know a lot of stories of peoples lives.

Broken People everywhere.

To me they share.

Their screwed up lives.

Some cut it away with knives.

Others wear a smile.

But that will only last awhile.

One girl I know Is K.

K hides behind a mask,

So know one will ever ask.

To other she seemed so strong.

But I knew they were wrong.

She pulls her sleeves.

Hiding scars that never leave.

I found her on the bathroom floor.

Tear stained faced begged for no more.

I smiled and encouraged her to continue life.

She told me her story of her knife.

Looking at me as if I would laugh.

But I just smiled and replied,

"It doesn't matter what you did yesterday,

only today matters,

you can change if you want."

I still she her In the hall.

And I know she no longer feels small.

Her eyes match her expression.

Unlike so many others.
