So I am walking in the corridor, being upset with anyone or anything that gets in my way because I really need to get to my locker before the bell rings-my bag is killing me, it’s like I’m carrying a freaking coffin. My best friend isn’t at school and I haven’t put on the fragrance she got me so I don’t feel like myself and I am tired from yet another gruelling physical ed. lesson, thank God it’s almost lunch-I can rest but at this point it’s safe to safe to say I AM HAVING A BAD DAY.

I push my way through a group of hyperactive eighth grade boys and I curse because my ponytail has gotten stuck to one of their jacket zippers. Seriously, someone up there is just against me today.  I cringe because trying to get your hair out of a zipper-the actual hair that has grown from your head, not extensions or a weave-is painful.  I decide to just yank it out because tugging at it was a waste of time.  Tick tock tick tock...I mumble that if the bell rings I’ll fake an illness and go to the nurse just to have a bit of a break.

I look at my watch and when it says 11:50 I know that I’m really out of it because it can’t possibly be 11:50. I do a double take and notice that it says 11:05, a wave of relief sweeps over me and I start to feel less sweaty. This is a sign maybe my streak of bad luck is over maybe it was just-Crap what is that. I snap out of it and see basketball sneakers Groan, I’ve just walked into some obnoxious basketball player. I look up and I see, good legs, toned I must say-typical athlete, toned arms and his face, oh my goodness. His lips are slightly pouty, his eyes are a deep brown but I don’t get to analyse his looks any further because his mouth curves into a smirk that  just says “Am hot, I know that’s what you’re thinking.”  I thought to apologize but because of that smirk I say as I squint my eyes “Your in my way,”.  He seems taken aback and looks me over before saying “I can’t say I wasn’t warned about you,”. It was my turn to smirk as I step around him and make my way to my locker.

I grab my key in my pocket and I immediately curse at myself for having six keys that are almost identical...
