Maybe people can relate to this ^^ This is what I felt towards a certain person when I wrote it.

Sometimes I don't get you,
cause it seems you're leading me on,
could you please treat me like a person,
you say stop, you say go,
but you're never sure,
whatcha want from me,
give me a sign

You're like a traffic light,
showing me red, stop,
when I want to sprint,
in a second you let me know, soon,
from yellow you change to green,
but it feels like I already grew roots,
green light, go,
you say stop, you say go.

It's killing me how you play me,
so very cruel, I doubt you even realise,
how my reality sways when you speak,
my skin longs for your touch,
even though it's poison,
I swear to myself, I'll let go

You're like a traffic light,
showing me red, stop,
when I want to sprint,
in a second you let me know, soon,
from yellow you change to green,
but it feels like I already grew roots,
green light, go,
you say stop, you say go.

You're like a traffic light,
showing me red, stop,
when I want to sprint,
in a second you let me know, soon,
from yellow you change to green,
but it feels like I already grew roots,
green light, go,

you say stop, you say go.
