He Lurks

He lives in the shadows awaiting, awaiting anyone who came near, the Walls and ceilings weep as water trickles through their cracks. One droplet, two, three, but nothing, a natural cycle persisting and repeating itself as he waits. In the distance you can hear tree's singing and prancing with the wind, both a naturalistic flow between one another. Yet even they listen and wait. Vines spin through the cracks and up the Walls and ceilings, nature itself is gathering. Leaves fall through the tunnels, yet there is nowhere of which they could of come. The sounds of nature and wind are forever heard yet never seen.

Silently he creeps. Along the shadows and through the darkness of which surrounds him. Even the unseen fear him. He shifts his barbed tail from left to right as he sits in stance. He hears them, he slowly creeps along the Walls to the location of which they are heading. He hisses, he crawls, and he slyly Sniggers as he gains on the innocent victim. The helpless victim hears his sounds and trample over vines and roots that break through the dead concrete floor. Their pulse raises, their temperature already risen, their Soul helpless. He crawls to the ceiling above them in the endless darkness and teases with touch and sounds. The victim panicking yelling for help thinking they're paranoid, but no one is there to help, what do they do? What should they do, what can they do. Nothing. A last murmur of help is to be heard until silence overcomes once again, the wind is heard, and the tree's are prancing sighing of relief. It is now of which he respires of exhaustion, he takes to his corner, and waits for the next hunt...
