I used to write a few years ago, but stopped due to personal things. So I had this scenario of what would happen if I had lost my girlfriend. It's just the first scene of my character that I have yet to develop, but I wanted someone to read just to see if perhaps its interesting enough for someone to read. It's not a lot, but instead of a summary, I would appreciate if you can just take a chance to read it. Feel free to leave any comments, good or bad, really need them! Enjoy.

Itseemed like the world had stopped spinning. As if it stopped for what felt like years. The moonlight shined on me as I sat in front of my porch. It was bright enough to where I could see the white curtains from the house across the street, but dark enough for the stars in the sky to be visible. There was absolute silence- no cars passing bye, no sirens from police cars, no birds chirping- that I could hear the ringing in my head.

At that moment, I felt like jumping of an airplane without a parachute. Death would be less painful than being alone. I didn’t think I would ever feel the ache in my heart, that hole that was punched in by such a beautiful and powerful force. This hole seemed to grow bigger by the second and as I blinked as a drop of salty liquid slowly made its way down to my warm check down to my trembling hand.

As I looked down following it, it spread on my hand almost as if it was a sponge soaking the tears that slipped right out of my eyes. I was frightened by the realization that the waterfall had stopped and my cheeks were beginning to dry the pathway each drop made. Although that ended, the lake that brought them down, was getting dried.

I closed my eyes for a while to relive my eyes from the excruciating pain all over my body. Magically time travelingNo to the day the most beautiful and powerful force made its way into my heart...
