It's like the whole world is stuck in one mode.
That mode is only rarely broken or stepped away from,
and by people such as heroes or heroines or philosophers,
who are only NOW being seen for the intellegent human beings they were.
But what they did to give us this view on them
were things that humans shunnedback then.
It wasn't until after they died
that they were seen in the way they should have been their whole lives.
And all because they stepped away from the everyday mode of the world
and looked at it differently with
new thoughts and ideas and with a new perspective.
Most people don't even realize they are in a mode,
either that or they don't care.
They get so caught up in their little world
with its little expectations that come close to none at all.
They keep their head down and do as they are told.
I've snapped out of it, broken the haze of the mode,
and stepped back for a better view,
and I have no idea what to do about it,
because every attept I try at acting on my new perspective
gets stoned to death every time I turn a corner.
It's like they are scared of new things that they don't understand
and so they must kill it.
But this new-found perspective is now a part of me.
If they kill it,
they kill me.
I'm frozen by uncertainty, worry, and fear.
I'm lost.
