You’re surrounded
By the constant memory
Every single moment turns into the next
No, I can’t pretend
That I’m not always hurting
Consistently, I’m curious on what to expect

So what do we do now
Where are we gunna go
If I follow through, somehow
How am I to end each hello

I don’t want to move but I’ll run til I cry
Stop making sense and give me a good reason why
I’m falling so fast and it’s not going to stop
I’ll write you a little, then I’ll write you a lot

You could smile
And never look down or back
But you know that I know that it’s more than that
I could not try
But I’d pull you in the same
Cause fate doesn’t make mistakes from where we’re at

So what do we do now
Where are we gunna go
If I follow through, somehow
How am I to suddenly know

I don’t want to move but I’ll run til I cry
Stop making sense and give me a good reason why
I’m falling so fast and it’s not going to stop
I’ll write you a little, then I’ll write you a lot

And sometimes words don’t fit the meaning
Of what I’m trying to explain to everyone
But with you I make sense to both of us
And I think maybe that’s where this begun
Seventeen days and I’m grinning
We could find each other through hell
And step by step is a vision
I guess time will only tell
I don’t want to move but I’ll run til I cry
Stop making sense and give me a good reason why
I’m falling so fast and it’s not going to stop
I’ll write you a little tonight, maybe a lot
I’m falling so fast and it’s not going to stop
I’ll write you a little, then I’ll write you a lot
