 The First One

“My God !”  cried the young man sitting next to me. “ They say he has killed four people!”

“Who?” asked one of the passengers. “When?” asked another. “Where?”  asked still another.

“ I don’t know,” he said.

“Why don’t you check again,” I said with awe and curiosity.

He looked at his laptop .  “There is a picture of him too,” he said after a while. It is a man with a big mustache.” He looked up at me and smiled.

“Why ?” I said indifferently. “Why did he do it?”

He looked at his laptop again. “ Two of them were policemen who wanted to catch him and the third one… was a passerby.”

“What about the first one?” I asked.

He stared at me for a second. “ I don’t know. They say nothing  about him.”

I shrugged my shoulders and got up. When I was leaving the passenger car, I heard someone following me.
“ You’d better come with me!” hesaid when I was walking away. “ My gun is pointing right at you!”

I turned around quickly and heard the sound of two shots. One almost cut off one of my ears. He was now bending down, falling to the floor holding the handle of my knife in his chest.

“ The first one was paid to murder me,” I mumbled rubbing my heavy mustache  before I quickly walked away.
