Consequences

“Aaaaagh!” she used her last breath to create an ear-splitting scream. I knew it was wrong the moment I picked up the gun and pulled aggressively at the trigger. This wasn’t the way to solve my problems; it would just make them worse. I grabbed hold of her carcass and dragged it to her back garden, then dropped her on the patio. I then walked calmly over to the shed and pulled hard, locked! I looked around for a weapon; m gun was still attached to my side. I relieved it of its casing and aimed it at the lock; I felt a surge of aggression and pulled hard on the trigger repeatedly. The lock was so battered and broken afterwards I was able to pull it open. There wasn’t much in the way of tools in there but luckily there was a shovel. I retrieved it, not bothering to close the door and began digging.
