Should I give myself advice, I would say, “Do not be afraid.”

I would put a consoling hand on my shoulder and give a gentle squeeze.

I would look into my eyes and truly believe in the power of my spirit.

Should I give myself advice, I would say, “Do not fear power.”

I would explain that it is irresponsible to waste potential for fear of failure.

I would envelop my body in a great big hug and reassure myself that I am loved.

Should I give myself advice, I would say, “Stop being selfish and embrace who you are.”

I would encourage myself to fulfill my destiny and no longer hide.

I would pat myself on the back and send myself off into the world to do great deeds.

Should I give myself advice, I would dismiss the advisor as a hypocritical coward.

I would conclude, that which should be done for the world is not best done by me.

I would continue living in obscurity and quiet desperation.  Afraid.
